John is Professor of Clinical Genetics at Newcastle and Medical Director of the Institute of Human Genetics. John is the project leader for the CAPP Studies and he is responsible for the overall co-ordination of the project.

Professor John Mathers

John is Professor of Human Nutrition at Newcastle University and treasurer of the CAPP studies. He is responsible for compliance and dietary evaluations.

Gail Barker

Gail is the Trial Co-ordinator of the CAPP2 study. She is responsible for day to day management of the main Newcastle study office and all data collection. Gail is also responsible for co-ordinating all the participating centres.

Olive is the CAPP Trial Administrator. She is responsible for arranging contracts with participating centres and making payments. Olive also co-organises the annual CAPP conference.

Lynn is the CAPP2 secretary who is responsible for the despatch of all treatment packs. Lynn also co-organises the annual CAPP conference.

Louise is the genetic associate for CAPP2. Louise is responsible for recruiting in Newcastle and also for giving clinical advice to the other CAPP centres.

CAPP2 Senior Laboratory Technician

CAPP2 Senior Laboratory Technician

Julie our Senior Pathology Technician has responsibility for the preparation of sample biopsy kits, for receipt of all biopsies, their processing and analysis. Julie also prepares the paraffin blocks and slides of adenomas and tumours for analysis.
