Race for Life

In May 2003 a number of CAPP members, along with other Genetic Institute employees, ran, jogged, and walked, the Saltwell Park , Gateshead "Race for Life" in aid of Cancer Research UK . Although the weather stayed fine throughout most of the morning, the very dark cloud which had been following us decided to burst just as we crossed the finishing line.  Needless to say, we all ended up looking like "drowned rats" and were glad to get home to dry. We all agreed it had been worthwhile and a great "fun day".
