Here is an interesting story from one of our recruits who took his treatment on holiday with him……..
“A point to remember in the event of taking any holidays abroad is you should make sure that you have a covering letter from your local CAPP study contact. This is very useful if you have your suitcase searched by customs officials as the starch can be seen as a somewhat suspicious white powder!!
I encountered an incident last year on a cruise liner. Three days into the holiday all my starch supply disappeared from my cabin. The only explanation being possibly the cabin boy may have taken the product thinking it was something to 'snort' but obviously he would receive a surprise!
The team have asked me to continue for another year and also to write regarding a diet sheet for 4 day period. This of course I am only too pleased to be of assistance. My hope is that all of these trials may benefit the next generations of children and grandchildren”.
If you require a letter in order to take your CAPP treatments on holiday, please contact your local CAPP office and they will be able to provide you with this documentation.
